MEET RICK TASHMAN
Rick has the unique expertise to provide extreme makeovers for data centers, server rooms and critical infrastructures, both on the ground and in the cloud.  Rick makes certain client’s data is available even when bad stuff happens.

He specializes in Data Center and Computer Room Designs, Implementations, Moves, Migrations, Power, Cooling, Virtualization and Storage to maximize uptime and reduce energy consumption.  He helps clients decide should they build, use colocation, hybrid or utilize cloud services and then implements the plan.

Rick is one of 30 IT Consultants in the country, who holds the Elite Data Center Design Certification.  His professional expertise in the IT arena is supported by more than 200 customer testimonial letters for outstanding service.  Clients call Rick the “MacGyver” of data center emergency service.  He is responsible for delivering more than 150 million dollars of computer products, projects and services to his clients.  Projects range from five thousand to two million dollars.

Rick has received recognition from many Delaware Valley organizations as “Their Trusted IT Advisor.”  He is a member of the Philadelphia Chapter of InfraGard, a cooperative undertaking led by the FBI. He is member in 7×24 Exchange, an organization for those who design, build, use and maintain mission-critical enterprise information infrastructures.  He is frequently asked to speak at national events, webinars, TED style talks and has written articles for industry trade journals.

ABOUT RICK
He began IT career at Radio Shack, District Manager, responsible for 25 retail electronic and computer centers.  Continued education includes:  Wharton Finance and Accounting for Non-Financial Executives; Dale Carnegie; APC, Cisco, Eaton, HP Enterprise SAN Certifications. 

His community service involvement includes Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, mentor and fund raising instructor and participant in the Multiple Sclerosis MS150 ride for 20 years. In 2005, Rick became a certified spinning instructor, teaching several classes a week for over ten years, and has completed 7 marathons, 5 triathlons and rode his bicycle more than 6,000 miles for nonprofit fund raisers. He is the founder and organizer for several mentoring groups: The Original Philadelphia Entrepreneur and Business Meetup, First Fridays, and The Philadelphia Career Connection.
